As a fan of the work of Australian artist Damian Michaels, I have already done two posts about him on my other blog, Photobooth Journal. You can see the first post here and the second one here. There you will find two more of his altered photo works, numerous links to his web pages and more information about him.
These three pieces stand out from the rest of his work as they are in colour rather than black and white. He has used old, real photo postcards as his canvas. It is a wonderful way to repurpose and preserve items, that having lost connection to history and family, often end up in the bin.
