This piece of ephemera is made of tiny pieces of used United States postage stamps. It came to me unannounced in a box of photographs I bought online. The face and arms are cut from what looks like a newspaper advertisement.

It probably dates from the 1940s, a guess due solely to the hairstyle the lady is sporting. Someone spent a lot of time making this item and as twee as it is, it deserved better treatment than to be used as packing material.
